We are excited to share that as of January 6, 2025, gNext has successfully attained SOC 2 Type II compliance, a significant step that highlights our continuous dedication to safeguarding our customers’ sensitive data.
The independent audit was conducted by a recognized provider of System and Organization Controls (SOC) Certification.
To earn this certification, they thoroughly evaluated gNext’s information security protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure they align with the rigorous standards set by the Trust Services Criteria (TSC) established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
What is SOC 2 Compliance?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) is a respected security standard developed by AICPA, defining how organizations should manage and protect customer data. A SOC 2 report is a key resource for security teams to evaluate a vendor’s security practices.
Service providers like gNext voluntarily undergo comprehensive audits to ensure their security controls meet the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria, which include:
- Security
- Availability
- Processing Integrity
- Confidentiality
SOC 2 compliance is available in two forms: a SOC 2 Type I report outlines the design of a service provider’s system controls at a specific moment in time (which we completed in February 2024), and the SOC 2 Type II report, which assesses how effectively those controls operate over an extended period.
