To begin with, let’s have a closer look at each new release item, below!
gNext Integration with ESRI
We’re excited to announce our new integration with ESRI, enabling seamless access to your gNext data through Web Map Tile Service (WMTS).
So, now you can easily visualize all your organizational maps within popular ESRI products, including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript.
Here are the gNext-ESRI Integration Highlights:
- Real-time updates: Automatically see the latest map data from your gNext projects. New maps are added to the WMTS service as soon as they’re processed, ensuring you always have the most up-to-date information.
- Eliminate siloed data: You can now process and manage data in gNext and access it through ESRI to fit into existing ESRI workflows.
- Integrate with drone management software: You can now easily integrate gNext with your flight management software to visualize all gNext data within your software suites.
- Simplified data access: Access all your gNext site maps using a single WMTS link: https://api.gnextlabs.com/v1/wmts?api_key={api_key}
(Note: you will need to replace {api key} with your API key for the url to work.) - Easy integration: Follow straightforward steps (shown in the video below) to add your gNext WMTS layer to any ESRI platform, simply add your gNext WMTS URL and API key to integrate your data.

Watch the video below to learn how to access the latest map data for all your projects using gNext within ESRI platforms.
Overall, the gNext-ESRI integration will allow seamless access to your gNext data, giving you real-time updates, eliminating siloed data, allowing easy integration and simplified data access, and easy integration with your existing drone management software.
New Module for Managing Cell Tower Inventory
Easily track and manage cell tower equipment with the new “Inventory” tab in gNext!
What’s more, is this update allows you to precisely track, locate, and measure cell tower equipment, streamlining your inventory management process.
Key Highlights of the Cell Tower Inventory Module:
- Monitor installed equipment: Keep a comprehensive inventory of installed equipment, including details like dimensions, angles, locations, altitude, equipment owner, Effective Projected Area (EPA), tenant information, equipment make and model, feedline type, status, associated documents, URLs to external sites, and more.
- Plan future installations: Mockup and visualize new equipment installations, including the placement of antennas, transmitters, receivers, cables, and other related equipment to ensure optimal setup and configuration.
- Enhanced annotation features: Add notes, files, and URLs to cell tower inventory annotations. This feature makes managing cell tower equipment more efficient by allowing you to track equipment serial numbers, maintenance history, component details, and telecom tenant information in one centralized location.
- Monitor cell tower lease space: Track the equipment installed by tenants and ensure it adheres to the designated lease space. This feature helps you manage tenant compliance and optimize the use of available space on the tower.
Lastly, our hope is that the new cell tower inventory management module will empower you to more easily monitor installed equipment, plan future installations, monitor cell tower lease space, and save time with enhanced annotations.
AI-Powered InspectAssist™️ is Available for Two New Industries
Take advantage of time savings for concrete dams and airport runways using InspectAssist- our AI-powered tool that streamlines the inspection process for concrete structures.
gNext InspectAssist Offers Many Benefits:
- Reduces physical and manual inspection time
- Enhances inspection efficiency
- Detects and quantifies defects
- Increases accuracy and safety
- Prevents infrastructure failures
- Delivers results that fit into existing workflows
It also detects and automatically quantifies defects like cracks, spalling, efflorescence, exposed rebar, vegetation encroachment, and prior patches without requiring exhaustive manual labor. You can export results to popular CAD systems and CSV files to tabulate results.
